General overview
Extremely accessible. Chronological events, from 1170 to 1998, are divided into
chunks, each with subtitles and pictures as well as narrative. For KS3 pupils
there are useful sections relevant to the Making of the UK, which would also
provide a thumbnail sketch of Irish history as an introduction to the Troubles
for GCSE students." (spartacus)
