"A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The model was developed in early 1995 at San Diego State University by Bernie Dodge with Tom March. The website provides training materials and a large collection of WebQuests" (spartacus)

Freedom Fighter or Terrorist? A WebQuest on Telling the Difference
www.web-and-flow.com/members/tmarch/freedom2/webquest.htm

...The main question students will be asked to answer is: " What is terrorism? Is there such a thing as a 'just cause? " As a team, students will survey a collection of definitions, then apply what they learned to individual examples (or Cases) of terrorism. Finally, through a group process, students will evaluate this range of real life cases to decide exactly what terrorism is and if it is ever justified; and if so, under what conditions. At the end of the activity, students may be asked to explain their own personal understanding on the topic. ... Created and maintained by Tom March (Blue web'n)
